21개의 기술 부문과 7개의 크리에이티브 부문의 수상자가 6월 4일(토) 미국 캘리포니아주 애너하임에서 열린 글로벌 NAMM Show에서 발표되었습니다. NAMM에서 매년 개최되는 이 행사는 레코딩, 라이브 공연, 영화, TV, 비디오 게임 및 멀티미디어 사운드들의 성과와 혁신적인 부분들을 평가하여 시상합니다. 이번 TEC 어워드에는 코미디언, 배우이자 음악가인 프레드 아미센이 진행자로 돌아왔습니다.

TEC 어워드 역사상 두 번째로 우수 기술 성과 부문에서 3개 회사가 각각 2개씩 수상했습니다.
